Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical terminology, dementia care, and the ability to work with individuals with disabilities.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in nursing practices, including ICD-9 coding and workers' compensation law.
- Participate in training programs related to sonography and other relevant medical procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in dementia care, home care, or senior care settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law is a plus.
