Assignment Start Date: 12/30/2024 or 1/13/2025

• 13 Week Duration | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36hrs GTD
• 4x12 | 48hrs schedule available upon request

Travel Offer:

• Estimated Weekly Total: $2,542
• Stipend included: $1,246
• Hourly Pay: $36, O.T: $39.60
• Travel reimbursement: $500

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Primary Location: Deaconess Henderson
• Shift Requirements: 12hr Nights 6:30p-7a
• Float Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Midtown (IN – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
• Weekend: Every third weekend
• Holidays: every other holiday
• Unit Information: 45 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN takes full assignment on nights and may take patients on days.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience, 1 travel assignment - Required
• Charting Experience Required: EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
• Skillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs/NGs, ostomy care, remote tele, blood product administration, NIHSS/dysphagia screen, Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Kentucky
• Compact allowed

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Active at Time of Submission
