Position: Permanent RN – Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights
Location: Claremont, NH
Compensation: $33.90 - $45.25/hour (based on experience) | $70,512 - $94,120/year (based on a 40-hour work week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs using the nursing process and critical thinking.
- Care for patients in a Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring and manage complex cases in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Respond promptly to patient changes, exercising sound nursing judgment and independent decision-making.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with medical protocols.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a rural Critical Access Hospital environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing with cardiac monitoring is required.
- Emergency Department (ED) experience is required.
- Rural healthcare experience is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – American Heart Association (AHA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association (AHA)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – American Heart Association (AHA)
- State License: Valid New Hampshire RN License
