Assignment Start Date : 1 / 2 / 2025
8 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours guaranteed weekly

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques policies and procedures standards of care and State laws / practice acts.
- Documents according to standards of care.
- Develops initiates and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by Physician and / or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities which may include shared governance.
- Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units / departments in support of the patients longitudinal plan of care.
- Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION
Experience :
Licenses Certifications and / or Registration :
EMR System : EPIC experience preferred
Shift : Nights 7P 7A. Every other weekend & holiday and 12hour shifts (Nights 7P7A) required
Float Requirement : Travel RN may be required to float to the StepDown ICU unit.
