Shift Type / Shift Times / Hours / Day : Evenings 3 : 00 PM 11 : 30 PM 8

Shift Notes : 8hr days 40hr guarantee

Weekend Requirements : As needed / Holiday coverage if required

OnCall Requirements : No Call

Exemption forms are available in Downloadable Forms (Both forms REQUIRE Provider / Religious Leader Signatures) or please ask your delivery team for documents. IF APPROVED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. To avoid delays in processing please include the travelers COVID vaccination card / or intent to fill out the exemption form with profile submission.

AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES / TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO THE PROFILE PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. ANYTIME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

This role is responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients and their belongings to and from inpatient rooms and care areas and upon discharge Responsible for greeting family members and visitors and escorting them to various locations throughout the facility. Screens family members and visitors to ensure the safety and security of visitors and staff and notify security discretely should the person be a VIP.

Additional Requirements (including but not limited to) :

Familiar with transport equipment such as stretchers oxygen tanks and hospital / ICU beds.

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to perform repetitive duties.

Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients staff and visitors.

Ability to receive constructive criticism professionally.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to use communication devices such as telephones computers bar codes pagers etc.

Works well together with different units and departments throughout the Hospital community

Full knowledge of hospital ethics and policies as they pertain to the job is required.

Submission Requirements

3 years of current experience working with public

HS graduate or GED

Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with patients families and other health care providers required.

Hospitality experience STRONGLY PREFERRED

A valid Drivers License is required for this need

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision / assistance

Ability to comprehend speak and write the English language

Knowledge of medical terminology required

Must possess sight / hearing senses or use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
