"Extremely low Nurse-to-patient ratios at our rural facility. Very supportive nurse management team. Duties include medication passes for 9 Residents and skin checks. Lots of time to focus on 1:1 activities and outdoor garden time with Residents."
Assesses plans, and implements the nursing care of residents within the patient care unit settings with the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by NACs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching as determined in the scope of the license. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the district’s mission.

Experience/Education/Qualification
Experience:
- Previous hospital work experience preferred.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Washington.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required
- Active ACLS and PALS certification, or agreeable to take the district-led classes within six months of hire.
- Current certification in IV therapy, or agreeable to participate in the district IV competency training program with the Nurse Manager within 6 months of hire.
