The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the credentialing process for new and current healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate billing, managed care contracting and maintaining accounts receivable records. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills/Experience:
· At least 2 years of experience in receivables management
· Experience in healthcare contracting or billing
· Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office tools
· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
· Capable of making independent decisions on a daily basis
Physical Demands:

Essential Functions:
· Manage the full lifecycle of payor applications and credentialing processes for healthcare providers across multiple states.
· Credential new providers and ensure current providers are up-to-date with insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care plans and other payors.
· Verify provider qualifications, licenses, certifications, and other credentials, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credentialing activities, including current contracts with payors and provider information.
· Monitor and ensure timely renewal of licenses, certifications, and credentials.
· Coordinate with regulatory bodies and payors to ensure compliance with varying state requirements.
· Stay updated on changes in credentialing requirements, regulations, and industry standards across different states.
· Develop and maintain a relationship with the billing software.
· Ensure billing practices comply with all regulations and maintain and update billing and A/R policies and procedures.
· Comply with all federal and state regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and false claims laws.
· Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
· Monitor Aging Reports and identify accounts not meeting contractual requirements.
· Assist the Billing Team with processes to ensure accounts are billed and collected in accordance with contracted terms.
· Manage the contract and credentialing process to ensure that contract rates and reimbursement are accurate and maximized.
· Serve as a liaison for surveyors and remote offices.
