LMSW or LCSW for Alleghany County Mobile Integration Team

Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker needed for Elmira Psychiatric Center's Mobile Integration Team located in Wellsville, NY

No weekends.

Salary dependent on education, licensure and experience

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday.

Job Duties:

The LMSW or LCSW will work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide support services in the community. The services provided will enhance the consumers well-being and work to minimize Emergency Room visits and hospitalizations. The LMSW or LCSW will work with community providers and resources to meet the needs and interests of the consumers.

1. Crisis assessment and intervention.

2. Family/Caregiver support services; individual and group.

3. Health teaching.

4. Assist with legal system interactions.

5. Outreach and engagement.

6. Psych Rehab/Recovery coaching.

7. Skill building.

8. Therapeutic support / individual and group.

9. Provide service coordination to ensure linkage to community services.

10. Collaboration with mental health providers (and eventually the Home and Community Based Services providers).

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of a license and current registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State or possession of a license and current registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

Must have a valid Driver's License

· No psychiatric experience required.
