What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance position at Mobile Lumber & Building Materials?
We are looking for a FULL TIME employee to perform landscaping and lawn and facility maintenance for a privately owned company with multiple Gulf Coast locations. Job responsibilities include weed eating, mowing (riding mower and tractor), use of all gardening tools, landscaping, facility maintenance, etc. We have year-round work available.
Position reports ON-SITE in the Tillman's Corner/Grand Bay area of Mobile, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns
- Weeding and mulching landscape beds
- Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
- Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees
- Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
- Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes
- Monitoring and maintaining plant health
Qualifications:
- Previous experience required- 5 years preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
- Must have a clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be a proactive self-starter
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen
