As a top provider, we have over 30 years of experience servicing the Construction, Manufacturing, Utilities & Power, Transportation, and Technologies industries.
Our services range from labor management services and exam services to safety services. MMC also has services at facilities across the continental United States.
We are actively seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist at our Kansas City, MO office location. The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Greeting people entering the building, answering questions, providing directions, and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
- Answering multi-line phone system, managing calls by routing them to the proper extensions, taking messages and delivering them, and setting up conference calls as requested
- Managing the building log of who is entering and exiting the building
- Accepting deliveries and mail, organizing them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system, and ensuring they get to the proper recipient in a timely manner
- Managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup
- Serving as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
- Maintaining the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter
- Stocking and restocking office and testing area supplies, as needed
- Mailing, faxing, filing, and data entry as requested
- Conducting walk-in drug screening via urine, saliva, or hair collection
- Conducting walk-in breath alcohol and COVID testing, as needed
- Traveling to construction sites to conduct drug testing and breath alcohol testing, as needed
- Inputting test results into our proprietary CRM system
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in an office setting
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Active driver’s license with clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in business administration or medical field
- 1 year experience in Occupational Medicine
- 1 year experience in urine collection
- Experience in drug and alcohol testing
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 7:30am - 11:30am Monday - Friday
