We are seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner at our client site in Navasota, TX. This role would be responsible for covering shifts while the main practitioner is on PTO or during health events when extra staffing is needed. This would be an ideal role for a retired nurse or someone looking to work just enough hours to maintain license.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) performs physical examinations, prescribes, and dispenses medications on-site, and provides preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the supervising physician.

Thursday 8am -3 pm (as needed)

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
- Current certification in CPR & ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a nurse practitioner -- occupational or industrial experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of clinical standards of care
- Triage injuries to determine if injuries can be treated on-site, or if off-site medical care is required, and determine the appropriate method of transportation and appropriate level of off-site treatment
- Managed care of injured employees with panel physicians
- Educate employees on health and safety topics
- Provide urgent care services to employees and spouses
- Represent the company by being courteous, professional, and a patient advocate
- Excellent communication skills and customer services skills
- Ability to read and interpret all required documents and write required reports and correspondence
Salary: $60- 70 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 8 am 1 pm (as needed)
Thursday 8am -3 pm (as needed)
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Navasota TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
