The Psychiatric APRN/PA’s responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and treat behavioral and psychiatric health.
- Conducting individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Providing psychotherapy to patients.
- Managing patient medication.
- Diagnosing and develop treatment plans for homebound patients via analyzing and interpreting medical histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic imaging.
- Maintaining standards of care and professional practice guidelines.
- Collaborating with our team of specialists and primary care providers to develop treatment plans for high-risk patients.
- Partnering with local home health agencies, labs, imaging companies, and vendors.
- Communicating with patients and caregivers regarding self-management of diagnoses.
- Responding to patient and caregiver questions in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
- Maintaining compliance with HIPPA and Health Care regulations.
- One year of home health experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time.
- Licensed in FL, new graduates are welcome.
