Mobile Pitstop is an innovative car maintenance startup located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded by pro racing drivers, Mobile Pitstop aims for the same quality and precision within our team as those of the Indy car Paddock. Mobile Pitstop provides convenient, on-site, car maintenance (oil changes, tires, detailing) that can be booked straight through an app.
Automotive tech position overview:
As an automotive technician for Mobile Pitstop, you will perform timely and clean preventative maintenance at the customer’s preferred location. You will represent Mobile Pitstop as a service technician, customer service and sales person all from a company provided vehicle. As a representative to the Mobile Pitstop Brand, you will strive to continue upholding our 5 star rating on all sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and oil filter change according to manufacturer specs - Check and refill fluids
- Dismount, mount and balance tires.
- Check tire tread and air pressure.
- Rotate tires
- Replace windshield wipers
- Interior detailing
- Maintain vehicle and shop cleanliness
- Restock vehicle and shop inventory
- Recommend additional services to customers, process payments for services rendered
Requirements:
- Have a valid drivers license
- Be able to stand for an extended period of time - Lift upwards of 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old
Qualifications:
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work independently and be self motivated
- Previous automotive experience preferred but not required
Job type: Full-time/part-time Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Some weekends. Will vary according to customer demands. Flexible schedule with opportunities for overtime.
Employee Expectations:
- Arrive early with clean uniform (washer and dryer provided at Mobile Pitstop HQ)
- Prepare work vehicle for all services for the day
- Arrive on time to all appointments
- Complete appointments within allotted time slot and document all information through CRM - Recommend additional services
- Ask customers to share app with friends and leave a review
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
