We place an emphasis on teamwork, customer service & growth & development within the company. We are looking to add an experienced Service Manager to lead our growing team at our Chesapeake location.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our growing team. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. This role requires a strong background in automotive services and exceptional customer service skills and ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Company
-Greeting Customer & maintaining relationships
- Coordinate and supervise staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and other automotive diagnostics
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Handle service writing duties, including estimates and work orders
-Open & close PO orders
-Check progress of repairs & service & update the system daily
-Hold weekly meetings with staff
-Creating & managing the staff, maintenance & work schedules
-Conduct performance reviews for employees - as well as be involved in the hiring process
Skills:
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
- Experience in repair shop operations as well as familiarity with tools & parts
- Ability to align team members towards common goals and keep the team on task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
