Minimum Qualifying Requirement: Must be 25 Years Old, Have a Class C License, Good Driving Record, No Felonies in last seven years.

JOB SUMMARY:
Mobile Rail Solutions is a fast-growing company who specializes in locomotive servicing with the latest state of art designed equipment. You must have a safe driving record and no felony convictions in the last seven (7) years to qualify to complete an application. You must take and pass a pre-employment drug screen. You must be able to safely operate locomotive service trucks and provide locomotive services according to company and railroad procedures. All safety equipment is provided except steel-toed or composite-toed boots. All new employees are provided with on-the-job training by a qualified driver or supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Conduct pre-trip inspection of assigned truck.
• Ensure truck is loaded with all required supplies and safety equipment.
• Ensure all water, oil, and sand tanks are filled.
• Communicate with other shifts at turnover.
• Perform servicing according to locomotive servicing schedule.
• Operate truck in a safe manner, following all rules and procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing all appropriate PPE.
• Complete all required reports.
• Maintain good communication with management and customer.
• Be knowledge on all rail yards in service areas: schedules, routes, safety rules, and contracts.
• Provide locomotive servicing according to established procedure.
• Follow all company and applicable railroad policies and procedures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and site.
• Special Projects as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to climb in and out of a box truck
• Walk and stand on uneven ground
• Climb ladders to access locomotives
• Bend, stoop, kneel, twist and reach.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Outdoor working environment in all weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class B or C license CDL
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Self-motivated.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organization and paperwork skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Basic Mechanical knowledge.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including a drug and fitness test as well as a background check.
