Mobile Staff Solutions is now hiring TIG Welders in the Tampa area! This is a 2nd shift opportunity (2 PM – 10:30 PM), Monday through Friday. This is a temporary to permanent with an immediate start! Minimum of 2 years' of experience required!!
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weld able material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related experience
- Post-Secondary Certificate awarded for training completed after high school, preferred (examples: welding program, construction trades)
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Thorough ability in welding various materials excellent time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Good organizational skills
- Proficient basic math skills
- Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors
- Stainless Steel TIG welding Weld metal parts on a production line using welding gun or gas or arc welding equipment
- Connect hoses and turn valves to release fuel gas and oxygen to ignite mixture Insert weld rod into portable holder
- Guide torch along weld line to bend, melt, or build up metal
- Fuse parts together, seal tension points, and add metal to build up parts
