Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) is a private practice with a progressive service delivery model, where the therapists come to the client. Over the last 16 years, Mobile Therapy Centers has evolved from a single therapist offering a single service to employing over 100 health professionals, who provide a multitude of high-quality customized therapeutic services (ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Physical Therapy and Counseling) for children, teens, adults, and families. Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) is looking for a Full-time Bookkeeper.
The Bookkeeper will assist the Controller & CEO in bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and some general ledger and account reconciliation work. They may also get involved in company specific duties including billing and medical notes analysis/follow up
Essential Duties:
- Handle invoice processing and discrepancies, vendor maintenance and vendor payments.
- Ensure weekly and monthly processing deadlines are met.
- Verify approvals on all vendor invoices and check requests.
- Scan valid vendor invoices into electronic workflow.
- Continue to build upon the pre-existing electronic filing system
- Code invoices accurately to the general ledger accounts.
- Perform journal entries
- Account and Bank reconciliation, Credit applications
- Answer vendor inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Review and enter expense reports and credit card purchases.
- Manage weekly invoice hold reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Release approved invoices from payment hold to ensure timely vendor payments.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required; associate degree preferred
- 1-2 years’ Experience with AP and AR responsibilities
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (including advanced Excel experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle complex, multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to always interact in a positive and professional manner with all levels of both internal and external audiences.
- Experience with Quickbooks
Work Hours:
Hours: Monday Through Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
