Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Position Overview: We are looking for licensed therapists who are either licensed in Illinois and Indiana or eligible for licensure in these states. Therapists will provide telehealth services to our diverse client base, including Medicaid and Medicare recipients. This role offers the flexibility of working as an independent contractor or partnering with us, with administrative and billing support to simplify your practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for patients with PTSD and developmental disabilities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices.

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Therapist: Must be a licensed mental health professional (LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)
• Bilingual preferred but not required: Proficient in both English and Spanish.
• Experienced: Must have experience working with people from all backgrounds, including diverse cultures, identities, and sexual orientations. Candidates should also have experience working with individuals of all ages, families, and those facing severe mental health challenges.
• Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapy for individuals with mental health needs.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Client-Centered: Committed to delivering compassionate and culturally competent care.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and state licensing regulations.
