Job Overview
Mobility City is the preeminent mobility equipment sales and repair company in the US today. We sell and rent equipment from our beautiful retail showrooms. We also provide service inhouse and via our mobile service vans, fixing equipment like wheelchairs, mobility scooters, hospital beds, walkers and lift chairs.
We’re looking for a person with an outgoing personality, a positive attitude and a desire to help customers “get going again.” Your primary role as our “first point of contact” is to relieve customer anxiety and provide a solution for them by answering the phone with a compassionate voice, showing interest in them and their challenges, providing accurate product information, scheduling their appointment and processing their payment. We will train you how to accomplish these important functions and how to work closely with our service techs to keep them organized, on time and the customer informed.
A few of the main duties of a Showroom Customer Care Specialist are:
- answer the phone promptly using the script provided by Mobility City
- work with customers to determine their mobility needs
- ensure the showroom is neat, clean, and orderly – ready for daily business
- advise the customer on how to properly use the equipment
- build relationships with customers
- act as a positive role model and representative of Mobility City
Qualifications include:
- You must be organized and able to work with several computer software systems
- You must have a strong work ethic and positive personal disposition
- You must possess strong communication skills and a desire to help others
- We prefer a high school diploma or GED
Only those individuals with a strong work ethic, a desire to help others and excellent organizational and communication skills should apply. We are looking for a part time person to work approximately 24 – 28 hours per week in our showroom. We pay a starting base salary ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
