The operational Account Executive manages MRA’s client event tours, meeting clients’ expectations and coordinating events. Reporting to the Channel Director, the Account Executive handles day-to-day tour coordination, ensures tour schedules comply with DOT regulations and contract SOW, coordinates with host sites and field teams, pulls permits as needed, and communicates status to clients
Key Responsibilities
Execute Day-To-Day Tour Activation
- Maintain and monitor tour schedules and scope
- Ensure DOT compliance for schedules and activations
- Procure host site and suitable parking locations
- Pull permits as needed
- Develop and distribute event day run-of-show
- Oversee daily road staff activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and tour operators/drivers
Client Relationship Nurturing
- Develop strong client relationships, meeting clear expectations for optimal experiences
- Provide weekly status reports to clients
- Coordinate daily with client contacts on tour bookings and details
- Serve as the “go-to” for client issues
- Ensure a positive client experience
Proactivity & Problem Resolution
- Advise client and implement tour best practices
- Actively seek ways to improve processes both on the road and internally
- Actively research ways to be more tour cost conscious and financially responsible
- Work with Directors, Production, and Maintenance departments to help prevent and resolve emergency roadside repairs
- When applicable, communicate with client on roadside emergencies and their resolutions
Creative Thinking & Added Value Provider
- Continually assess tour activity and provide ideas to improve effectiveness and the overall visitor experience
Essential Skills - & Attitude!
- Minimum 1 year experience working directly with clients and marketing events
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communication, or related field
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client services
- Understands how to manage roadshow and track day-to-day activities
- Understands the details involved with producing and activating a roadshow
- Knowledge of basic mobile exhibit build principles
- Effectively manages large-scale mobile campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Negotiates effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
