As a Mechanical Assembly Fabricator at Driverge Vehicle Innovations , you will play a vital role in transforming vehicles to accommodate various mobility needs. Your primary responsibility will be to perform sheet metal fabrications, welding 14-gauge materials, and installing seat and track tiles while adhering to the provided blueprints. Additionally, you will be responsible for cutting into the side and / or floor of the vehicle to create new door openings or frames to support wheelchair positions.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform sheet metal fabrications based on provided blueprints.
Weld 14-gauge materials to ensure structural integrity.
Install seat and track tiles with precision.
Safely cut into the side and / or floor of the vehicle to create new door openings or frames.
Ensure the protection of OEM interior components during the modification process.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
