Driverge Vehicle Innovations, is seeking a New Product Development Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting new product development innovation initiatives from design to manufacturing including support of cost savings initiatives.
Essential Job Functions and Duties :
- Implement new product development and design initiatives in line with company goals.
- Support department with a smooth transition of products to production.
- Assist teams in carrying out implementation of the procedures designed.
- Able to implement a project from design to manufacturing.
- Experience with various materials including Steel, aluminum, and plastics.
- Write reports to document all process changes.
- Clearly communicate ideas and findings to management and colleagues.
- Effectively communicate updates to team, both written and direct training.
- Manage cost and time constraints.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Manage and develop team through mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and an ability to deal with complex and conditional situations.
- Comply with Driverge’s Core Values (LOVE IT).
- Complete other duties as assigned.
