We are seeking an experienced Home Access Installation Technician who will play a vital role in delivering our mission. This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing adaptive equipment to ensure maximum independence for our clients.
The Role:
- Perform mechanical and electrical installations of adaptive equipment, including stair lifts, patient lifts, scooter transports, ceiling lifts, power wheelchairs/scooters, and other mobility & accessibility equipment.
- Maintain and repair previously installed equipment and adaptations.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality of installations and repairs.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and adaptations.
- Follow written service orders accurately to complete tasks.
- Upward quality in adherence to company standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license necessary.
- Pass background search.
- Experience in installing and servicing stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and ceiling lifts.
- Possession of valid driver's license and insurability for company vehicles.
- Strong electrical and wiring skills, including low-voltage electrical experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Background in garage doors, HVAC, or construction beneficial.
- General construction experience essential.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Salesforce and manufacturer applications.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
