Mobis North America is looking for an IT Manager with Cybersecurity / Infrastructure Experience for its R&D Center in Plymouth, MI.

Job Summary :
The IT Manager is responsible for managing the operational environments to ensure efficient service to the company and provide for longer-term stability and development of capability for the company and its subsidiaries. This role involves overseeing the IT infrastructure, administering daily IT operations and procedures, and ensuring the utilization of IT systems and technology to support business requirements at the least possible cost. The IT Manager is also tasked with protecting company data and systems, supervising IT maintenance contracts, and acting as the IT representative in communications with HQ and other organizations.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Management :
Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Oversee daily IT operations and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Strategic Planning :
Plan and execute IT strategies to support the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Identify opportunities for technology improvements and cost savings.
Ensure the scalability and adaptability of IT systems to meet future business needs.
Security and Compliance :
Protect company data and systems from security threats and vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Vendor and Contract Management :
Supervise IT maintenance contracts and manage relationships with external vendors.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Outsourcing Management :
Oversee and manage outsourced IT services to ensure they meet company standards and requirements.
Coordinate with external service providers to ensure seamless integration and support.
Evaluate the performance of outsourced services and implement improvements as needed.
Communication and Collaboration :
Act as the IT representative in communications with HQ and other organizations.
Collaborate with other departments to understand and support their IT needs.
Provide technical guidance and support to staff and management.
Budget Management :
Develop and manage the IT budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Monitor and control IT expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
