Mobius is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer (MSE) capable of executing engineering tasks associated with supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises with designing, building, and running modeling and simulations of ballistic missile defense systems and ballistic missile threats. The Engineer will execute planning, configuring, monitoring, and implementation of Missile Defense System (MDS) parameters into simulation software such as Missile Defense Advanced Simulation (MDASIM) and Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) to support distributive virtual and constructive exercises modeling BMD systems and ballistic missile threats.
Duties of a MSE may include :
- Support the technical lead in all aspects of MDS Wargames and Exercises modeling and simulation.
- Conduct System Engineering Integration and Test (SEI&T) element pre-test coordination, event execution, pre- and post-mission testing.
- Responsibilities range from conducting weekly planning meetings and technical activities involving diverse network and architecture configurations.
- Configure and conduct on-console support on designated modeling and simulation workstations that support CCMD and MDA BMD exercises.
- Assist with identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
