Mobius is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Ballistic Missile Defense Subject Matter Expert (BMD SME) to join our team! In this role you will get to facilitate the modeling, simulation, and analyses of future concepts that shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs. The position is in Huntsville AL.
Duties of a Principal Systems Engineer may include :
- Facilitate the definition of future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analyses, and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer
- Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability revolutions and evolutions at the architecture level
- Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Develop analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare analysis reports, and provide reviews of analysis products
