Description
MoboTrex has an opportunity to join our growing organization as a full-time Assembler I at our location in Powhatan, VA. We engineer, manufacture, and sell a wide range of standard and custom traffic control products across America.
The primary objective is to assemble and wire traffic signals enclosure panels. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have manual dexterity for wiring, have mechanical aptitude and experience with powered and un-powered hand-tools in order to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Must be able to work 40 hours weekly from Monday to Thursday with a daily schedule of 6:00am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements
- Read point-to-point electrical diagrams, blueprints and/or bullet point instructions when required
- Cut to length, strip, tin and crimp wire
- Use powered and un-powered hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers and wrenches, drills, shear.
- Interpret available blueprints, diagrams and instruction bullet points and assemble sub-assemblies.
- Accurately eliminate and route wires at the designated locations as described by an electrical diagram.
- Solder wires to specified points.
- Complete inventory tracking paperwork.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Complete cross training opportunities in other areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED and/or relevant electronics/assembly experience
• Must have an aptitude for electronic control equipment
• Must be able to pay attention to detail consistently
• Must be able to work in a team environment
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to occasionally lift 25 to 70 pounds and stoop, bend or reach above shoulders
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and use hands to finger, handle or touch objects or controls
• Requires repetitive use of hands
