MoboTrex has an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager (Bilingual) at its Pflugerville, TX manufacturing location.
The Human Resources Manager (Bilingual) is responsible for providing superb business partnership through effective utilization of the human resources function to support strategic business objectives.
Provides highly professional service, consultative advice, and counsel in the areas of employment law, HR policy administration, employee relations, recruitment and staffing, onboarding, organizational development and training, compensation administration, benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, performance management, unemployment and layoffs, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Partners with leadership in the execution of annual initiatives, i.e., succession planning, strategic planning, etc. This role requires integration skills to effectively align HR processes with business objectives and ensure seamless collaboration across departments, including the integration of newly acquired entities.
Requirements
1. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Ensures HR objectives lead to achievement of business objectives and integrates these efforts seamlessly across the organization, including newly acquired entities.
2. Provides hands-on and strategic input, support, and guidance to management, SR. HR Generalist, and other staff with respect to employee relations, performance management, and conflict management especially when complex and sensitive issues arise. Uses effective conflict resolution techniques and integration skills to solve employee relations issues, including counseling management and building consensus on complex and sensitive issues.
3. Manages the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding for all job openings, including the temp-to-hire conversion process. Collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and revises job descriptions. Conducts orientation and perform exit interviews, ensuring a well-integrated process.
4. Maintains knowledge of legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, and ensures adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and external local, state (IA, IL, MN, MO, TX, VA, etc.), and federal laws. Integrates compliance requirements smoothly into HR practices.
5. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Integrates new technologies and trends into HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Updates, maintains, develops, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook. Ensures all policies are integrated and communicated effectively to all employees.
7. Oversee the employee disciplinary process, including documentation and meetings, and reviews all terminations. Integrates feedback mechanisms to continuously improve these processes.
8. Conducts investigations, makes determinations, recommends solutions, maintains records, and represents the organization at hearings. Ensures the integration of fair practices in all investigations.
9. Performs benefit administration, including annual open enrollment, claim resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefits information to employees as well as setup in the online benefits portal. Integrates benefits administration with overall HR strategies.
10. Maintains HRIS system records and compiles reports from the database, including but not limited to address changes, salary/title/wage changes, PTO management, leave management, and employee status updates. Ensures the integration of HRIS with other organizational systems.
11. Manages all MoboTrex leave processes, communication, and coordination of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, STD, LTD, and other approved leaves of absences, including providing required initial documentation, ongoing tracking of time out due to specific incidents. Maintains the OSHA log. Integrates leave management processes with overall HR and business strategies.
12. Facilitates effective communication between employees and management in Spanish.
13. Integrates communication strategies to foster a cohesive and inclusive work environment.
14. Leads and manages the integration of newly acquired entities into the organization.
15. Develops and implements HR strategies and processes to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with the company's culture and objectives.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or equivalent business degree preferred
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP required
- 10 years' experience in a multi-discipline Human Resources position
- Ability to handle ambiguity and exhibit sound and accurate judgment and decision-making
- Experience with recruitment and performance management at all levels of the organization
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, including ACA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, Worker's Compensation, and OSHA. Multistate experience preferred.
