Mobotrex Inc is a leading manufacturer of traffic control products across America. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Assembler to join our team in Powhatan, VA.
About the Position
The ideal candidate will have experience with assembly and wiring of traffic signals enclosure panels, as well as knowledge of electrical diagrams and blueprints. They should be able to work 40 hours weekly from Monday to Thursday with a daily schedule of 6:00am to 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire traffic signals enclosure panels
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and bullet point instructions
- Cut, strip, and crimp wire
- Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers, and wrenches, drills, shear
- Assemble sub-assemblies and rout wires according to specifications
- Track inventory and complete paperwork
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED and/or relevant electronics/assembly experience
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
- Ability to work in a team environment
