Job Title: Greeter (Host/Hostess)
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Tip Eligible
Reports to: Restaurant General Manager
Job Summary:
As a Host at our Casual Dining establishment, you are the first point of contact for our guests, guiding them to their tables and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your role encompasses managing customer expectations, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and assisting servers as needed.
Essential Functions:
1. Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables, providing assistance as needed.
2. Manage customer expectations by providing accurate wait time estimates and offering alternatives when necessary.
3. Clear and reset tables efficiently to accommodate incoming guests, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.
4. Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables, as well as addressing any special requests or concerns from guests.
5. Keep the dining area clean and organized at all times, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and tidying up as needed.
6. Monitor restroom cleanliness and address any issues promptly to maintain a pleasant environment for guests.
7. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate service during peak hours.
8. Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
9. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold our commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
10. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
11. Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
12.Ability to calculate and count cash & change.
13.Ability to carry trays with multiple food and beverage products including dirty dishes & glassware.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment with high customer volume during peak hours.
Requirement to stand for extended periods and engage in moderate physical activity, such as walking and lifting.
Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels from customer activity and kitchen operations.
Salary : $16 - $18
