Title: Principal Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Remote (Greater Boston or eastern time zone preferred)
Summary:
Our Touchplan development team seeks an innovative, product-focused full stack developer with expertise developing Angular applications backed by relational and document databases. A successful candidate will have experience building complex cloud-based web applications designed to serve thousands of users and scale to accommodate the growth of the company.
Development responsibilities will cover the entire stack from the Angular frontend to the Java-based backend.
This is a small team that works closely with the Chief Software Architect. We use Agile tools and techniques and deliver code frequently.

- Contribute significantly to the development of cloud-based, web applications with a high degree of scalability, reliability, and availability
- Collaborate extensively with product management, research & engineering teams to deliver complex large-scale projects
- Show initiative and enthusiasm in tackling challenging problems with innovative designs
- 8 years’ experience developing complex web applications
- Relational databases and stored procedures - Postgres preferred: Expertise
- Typescript: Expertise
- Java: Advanced
- *Nix experience: Advanced
- Docker (Building, orchestrating): Advanced
- Experience taking an active role in the design and development of a product
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Distributed computing utilizing message passing communication
- Google cloud services, including Firebase
- Snowflake
