Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Overview:
Analysts must be able to apply technical and functional knowledge to conduct analytical testing in accordance with internally validated methods and Standard Testing Procedures (internal or client methods); following ISO 17025 and company policies.

Responsibilities:
- · Perform analytical testing in accordance with internally validated methods and other Standard Testing Procedures.

· Create proper laboratory records in accordance to ISO 17025 and company Standard Operating Procedures and policies.

· Maintain, operate, and qualify analytical instruments in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures, Instrument Operation Manuals, and ISO 17025 regulations. Conduct investigation of instrument failures or malfunctions.

· Follows internal SOPs, methods, policies and procedures.

· Conduct investigations of Out of Specifications (OOS) or unexpected results.

· Submit completed projects for review to analysts or supervisor

· Participate in method execution, transfers and special studies.

· Maintain work area in accordance with company policies.

· Perform miscellaneous tasks that contribute to the proper operation of the laboratory (inventories, checking of reagents, setup or organization of work areas, etc.). Communicate any problems that might affect job performance or laboratory operations to analysts or supervisor

· Participates in the creation or revision of internal SOPs, procedures, policies or systems

· Other duties as assigned by analysts or supervisor

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field or

· 2 years of experience working in laboratory setting with a focus on analytical or QC testing (or equivalent educational experience)

· 21 years old

· Must be a detail-oriented, problem-solving individual with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
