Construction Laborer
Moceri, a family-owned real estate developer since the 1950s, is known for crafting fine residences and communities across Southeast Michigan. Our diverse portfolio includes custom homes, luxury apartments, new developments, and golf courses.
We are seeking a full-time Construction Laborer for Mystic Cove, a new Luxe Living community in Lake Orion along with other new developments in the same area. Entry level position for construction management assisting the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and other team members with all construction related duties.
This position is responsible for tasks involving physical labor at the construction site. The duties and responsibilities of a Construction Laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. The list of duties and responsibilities for a Construction Laborer on any given day may include the following:
- Assist Project Manager with all construction responsibilities including the supervision and scheduling of trade partners from trench to customer move in
- Help maintain a clean and safe community by conducting daily community walks, with a focus on safety, environmental and storm water compliance
- Perform all other duties as assigned with an emphasis on quality control, community cleanliness, and follow-up to confirm the level of completion prior to end of day
- May need tools occasionally, tape measure, cordless drill, misc. hand tools, etc. (No major items).
Qualifications
Additional requirements include:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- One year of homebuilding or related (trade) experience preferred
- Reliable daily transportation
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
