Mochi Tea Cafe, Inc is the premiere boba tea shop in Port Saint Lucie, FL. We serve authentic, premium boba tea, specialty drinks, mochi ice cream, Asiain ice cream, cakes, Japanese mochi, and desserts. We are looking for an outgoing, socialable, high energy, and friendly individual with great work ethics to join our service team. 1) MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS , AND SOME DAYTIME SHIFTS

2) MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER

3) MUST HAVE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL OR GED EQUIVALENT

**DUTIES:

- Greet customers with friendly smiles and ready to serve
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including tea, coffee, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and kitchen areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in food preparation and storage
- Collaborate with team members and managers to ensure efficient operations

- Food preparation: Ability to follow recipes and prepare food items according to established guidelines
- Retail math: Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management

- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating recipe conversions, and processing payments
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and address customer needs

- Work ethics: Hard working, on-time and willing to learn in a fast pace work environment. Take initiative in doing tasks independently.

- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Must have reliable transportation to work

PREFERRED:

- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to maintain food safety standards

- Food Handler Certificate a PLUS
- Food safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Food industry: Familiarity with the food industry, including knowledge of different types of beverages and food items
- Cash register: Experience operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system for processing transactions

- Cash handling: Experience in accurately handling cash transactions and providing correct change
- POS: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order processing and payment handling
