Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on guest preferences and restaurant capacity.
- Communicate wait times accurately to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Utilize Aloha POS system to manage reservations and track guest seating.
- Assist with customer service inquiries, providing information about menu items and specials.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Help resolve any guest issues or concerns promptly, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for food service and hospitality, with a commitment to providing excellent guest relations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
