The Role
We’re looking for an Executive Creative Director (ECD) with vision, precision and serious creative chops. Someone who can rally a team of 30 creatives, wow clients and push the work further every time. You’ll lead by example – setting the tone, shaping the ideas and building a culture of excellence. You’ll report to the CEO and be a key player on our leadership team. This isn’t just about making great work – it’s about shaping the future of our agency.

Creative Oversight
- Own the creative output and process from concept to execution
- Uphold MOD’s aesthetic and creative standards across everything we touch
- Push for storytelling that’s compelling and clear – no matter the medium
- Champion consistency, clarity, and excellence—every time, on every touchpoint.
- Jump in when needed to shape ideas, write headlines, steer direction, and get the work where it needs to be
Client Relationships Strategy
- Develop deep, meaningful relationships with clients – they’ll trust your instincts and crave your ideas
- Be a creative partner in the room – whether it’s a pitch, workshop or review, you’ll represent MOD with confidence
- Translate business problems into brilliant ideas that move the needle (and maybe win awards)
- Collaborate with Account, Production, and Strategy teams to shape briefs, scopes and plan that set the team up for success

YOUR CREDENTIALS
- 15 years of broad creative and management experience with at least a minimum of 5 years in an agency setting
- Proven ability to hire, lead, empower and develop a group of cross-disciplinary creative professionals
- Successfully balance creativity and inspiration with the need to drive business results
- Ability to manage projects and programs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with challenging and changing deliverables and deadlines while remaining calm, cool, and collected and instilling confidence in others
- A strong collaborator who can effectively manage opposing viewpoints, productively take and respond to feedback, and communicate actionable next steps to the working team
- A strong portfolio full of breakthrough ideas that cross categories and drive results. Experience as both a maker of great work and an instigator of it
- Expert knowledge of the creative, strategy, concepting, ideation, design and production process, including workflow management
- Solution-oriented, problem-solving mentality and innovative approach to solving challenges
- Must be an excellent pitch person, with great written and oral communication skills, with a passion for growing these skills within the creative team
