Job description:
As stated above, this position supports a team of engineers and oversees shipping and receiving operations at our Greenwood, Indiana site. The position is non-exempt and is onsite Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities include:
· Conduct shipping and receiving operations according to procedure
· Execute transport simulation studies according to protocol requirements
· Perform inspection on pharmaceutical products and packaging
· Perform physical testing of products and packaging, including drop testing of heavy packages
· Record completion of tasks, study results, and observations while adhering to good documentation practices
· Track study progress and update team members and management
· Track and organize inventory of lab equipment, client materials, supplies, and consumables
· Plan for upcoming study requirements, including equipment, materials, and personnel
· Assist in the investigation of study deviations and equipment performance
· Ensure that the equipment calibration and preventative maintenance schedules are maintained
· Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on lab equipment
· Be on call periodically for response to study interruptions and facility maintenance
· Assist in the implementation of lab equipment upgrades
· Work on multiple projects with accelerated timelines
· Other projects and tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school Diploma
· 2 years work experience
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Familiarity with MS Office 365
· Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associates degree in the field of science, engineering technology, or biotechnology
· Excellent documentation, GMP, or GDP experience
· Pharmaceutical product or packaging inspection experience
· Familiarity with ASTM or ISTA standards
