Mode Transportation is currently seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team.
The focus of this position is to complete essential functions to ensure LTL and Truckload shipments are completed successfully from beginning to end and expand new and existing customers use of our transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships
- Prepare new shipments
- Schedules and Coordinates pickup and delivery of loads w/ customers and transportation partners
- Track and trace shipments
- Customer and carrier follow-up
- Determine rates and discounts for shipments
- Answer incoming calls
- Audit load information
Required Qualifications
- Previous LTL and Truckload customer service and operations experience within Transportation Industry
- Effective communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Decision making skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and organization
- Team oriented
- Ability to use various computer systems (Microsoft Office products and in house system)
