Fixture Tool Builder (3+ Years expereinced)

Summary of Position

Assist builders in the fabrication or repair of checking fixtures with various machining equipment and hand tools by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions:

· Build Assist-1 Functions

· Shop Math

· Fork Lift Proficiency-Certificate

· Tool setup, set and pour pads, floor rigging

· Rigging proficiency

· Bridgeport -2, Drill & Dowel details

· Knowledge of Enovia/Catia V5

· Stamp and ID Tool

· Install Bushings

· Advanced Blueprint reading

· Surface Finish

· Maintain regular and punctual attendance and working overtime as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Minimum of 5 years fixture build experience.

· Aerospace/Aviation experience required.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

· Ability to set and locate detailed features on a tool.

Work Environment

This job operates in a factory setting. The position is regularly exposed to moving and mechanical parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odors, fumes, dust or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Proper PPE will be provided.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Position will require sitting, squatting, walking and bending 8-10 hours per day. The employee must be able to lift 35lbs or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
