Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care, nursing homes, or long-term care settings. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health, memory care, social work, or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and ability to follow care plans accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
• Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients as needed.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
