What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Porter - Hamilton, NJ position at MODERATE INCOME MANAGEMENT?
Local property management company is seeking Porter to join our existing team at our Hamilton location. The ideal candidate will have experience with general building upkeep and maintenance, preferably in a residential community setting. This position requires attention to work detail as well as excellent communication skills with management, peers, and tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Sees the upkeep of common areas such as hallways, parking areas, and sidewalks, vacant units, and management offices
- Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors, washes windows, cleans appliances and vents
- Attends and participates in training classes for the maintenance and custodial staff
- Keeps the work areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Assists in the inventory control and security of all janitorial equipment and supplies
- Assists in all aspects of the property as directed by the Superintendent
Requirements:
- Previous janitorial experience preferred
- Must be willing to work with a wide variety of people including tenants, peers, and managers
- Must have good safety habits
