ABOUT THE JOB
The Sanitization Technician performs technical duties related to sanitization, organizing the day-to-day sanitization operations of the Compounding, Packaging Departments. Will perform a variety of skilled and complex technical duties related to the daily sanitization preparation of the compounding and packaging of products requiring detailed knowledge of Modere products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform sanitation procedures per SOP.
- Inform Operations Management team of problems or concerns throughout the shift.
- Communicate plant sanitization needs and issues to supervisors, managers and support groups.
- Assure safe working environment; follow safety practices and procedures.
- Make basic decisions where established procedures do not always apply.
- Ensure the accuracy of documentation of various forms required for area of operation including Cleaning and Usage Logs, Cleaning tags etc.
- Monitor cleaning processes to ensure the procedures are being performed accurately and area is kept organized.
- Monitor products and components needed in the sanitation process, coordinate and expedite materials as needed.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance personnel or Trained Qualified Personnel daily as needed to receive authorization for operation and production; assure timely certification that equipment and machines have been cleaned and readied for new runs to prevent product contamination and rejections.
- Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Recommended:
- High school diploma or GED, or 3-5 years of equivalent combination of education and experience in related duties.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Knowledge of OSHA/Safety practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Operating Asset Effectiveness (OAE) and other efficiency measurements.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work under stress created by workplace requirements, deadlines, and changes in project priorities.
- Ability to make decisions and effectively solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department heads, supervisors, team leaders and coworkers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Production operations are performed in a warehouse/production plant setting, including periodic exposure to physical elements related to manufacturing processes.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Tasks require a variety of physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, sitting, reaching, lifting, talking, hearing, and seeing. Common eye, hand, finger dexterity required. Mental applications utilize memory for directions, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking and guided problem solving.
