Job Title: Python Developer with Strong Experience on AWS and Java

Location: McLean, Virginia (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Duration: 10-12 Months (High chances of extension)

Must Have Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python (80%) and Java (20%)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, CloudFormation, ECS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3)
• Extensive experience working with REST APIs
• CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins
• Strong understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases
• Version control experience with GitHub

Description & Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team. The role will primarily focus on Python development, with some Java development, as the team transitions to a full Python stack in the future. The candidate should have a background in banking or financial services and be skilled in developing cloud-based applications.

This position will require you to work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite), contributing to the development of systems that leverage modern cloud technologies and development practices.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications
• Implement and manage AWS cloud-based solutions (Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Design and integrate REST APIs for various functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive development and deployment
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Ensure efficient and reliable application performance using AWS services
• Manage source code in GitHub and ensure proper version control practices are followed
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications and systems
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the project meets business objectives
