Modern Auto Service in Fruitland, ID, is looking for a full-time Auto Tech to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000/year, based on base pay and flat rate.

YOUR SCHEDULE AS AN AUTO TECH
You'll work a consistent schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. This four-day workweek provides a great balance between work and personal time. Enjoy working in our air-conditioned shop!
YOUR DAY AS AN AUTO TECH
In this role, you'll inspect, test, and repair vehicles to ensure they're running safely and smoothly. You'll work closely with service advisors to meet customer expectations, performing repairs with quality, efficiency, and integrity. You'll solve mechanical and electronic issues, communicate effectively with coworkers, and help deliver excellent service to every customer. You'll also work in a comfortable, air-conditioned shop where you can do your best work!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Knowledge and skills of vehicle mechanical and electronic systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
- Find solutions to challenges with vehicles, equipment, and coworkers
Preferred qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Current ASE certifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
- Ability to operate motor vehicles, machinery, or power tools
