Modern Chevrolet Parts Warehouse has an immediate opening for an Automotive PT Class A CDL Line Haul Parts Driver . This position is an evening haul route based in Boone, NC. Join the team of talented parts professionals at Modern Chevrolet Parts Warehouse. Responsibilities for this position include :
- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
- Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry
- Unloads truck each night, returning all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations that govern safe driving, hours of service, inspection, maintenance, and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and satisfactorily pass a drug test and alcohol test.
