As our AS400 Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining, developing, and testing programs while collaborating with users to identify and resolve technical challenges. Your expertise in coding will help evaluate and enhance existing programs, driving process improvements and increasing operational efficiency. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong initiative, ambition, and a passion for learning the business from the ground up.
Essential Job Functions :
- Design, develop, test, and document AS400 (IBM iSeries) programs and applications, ensuring they align with user requirements and business needs.
- Provide coding, testing, and implementation support for IBM iSeries (AS400) solutions
- Debug and modify code to correct errors, optimize performance, and adapt to evolving requirements
- Analyze and enhance programs to improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Support users by troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on AS400-based applications
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advancements in existing systems to recommend and implement process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
