What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer SAT English Teacher position at Modern Chinese School?
Our summer program has been a staple of the Queens community for over 30 years. This year, we are located at JHS189Q and will run from June 30 to August 15, 2025. More information can be found on our website at www.nymcs.org. We are currently seeking talented teachers for the following classes:
SAT English and Grammar
Preferences:
- Degree or pursuing in related field (student teachers welcome)
- leadership skills to engage a group of 10-25 students
- productive, courteous, and empathetic when interacting with students, family, and colleagues
- able to create engaging PowerPoints and lesson packets
- available Monday through Friday
Opportunities in our After School and Saturday programs during the school year are also available for well-qualified candidates.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
