```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team from May to July this year (2025). As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the overall health of our patients' eyes. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a difference in the lives of others.
```Responsibilities:```
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any eye conditions or diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses or other vision aids as needed
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (such as Epic)
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and attend continuing education courses as required

- Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients
- Excellent sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of recommended treatments or products
- Experience working with senior patients and understanding their unique needs and challenges
- Knowledge of optical equipment, tools, and technologies used in eye examinations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology to accurately diagnose and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate patient records
- Understanding of medical coding practices to ensure proper billing and reimbursement
