POSITION SUMMARY
Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a motivated and highly skilled Senior Parachute Rigger (SR) to support elite Special Operations Forces (SOF) by ensuring mission-critical parachute systems and equipment are safe, reliable, and ready for action. As a Senior Rigger, you'll play a vital role in packing, servicing, and maintaining personnel parachute systems (PPS), while providing expert-level training in support of Air Force Special Warfare (AFSPECWAR) training at Davis-Monthan AFB.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to) :
- Operational Responsibilities :
Perform expert-level packing, inspection, and maintenance of PPS and cargo parachute systems, including but not limited to RA-1, MC-6, T-11R, APS, Raider Intruder, and Military Tandem systems.
Assist in classroom and field instruction on PPS and Aerial Delivery methods, ensuring personnel are trained to perform static line (S / L) and Military Free Fall (MFF) jump operations safely and effectively.
Service, inspect, and maintain high-altitude supplemental oxygen systems, night vision devices, altimeters, emergency breathing systems, and flotation devices to ensure operational safety.
Participate in full-mission profile training, acting as Opposing Force (OPFOR) or medical role players to enhance realism.
