Job Description: Aftermarket Sales Representative
Reports to: Branch Manager and Aftermarket Sales Management
Job Requirements:
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the Aftermarket Sales process including quoting and selling repairs, PMs and maintenance contracts as well as new customer acquisition, dispute resolution and customer retention.
- Prepare and send product specification and quotation packages to customers
- Make follow-up calls, respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain contact with customers before, during and after each sale to ensure customer satisfaction and to ensure responsiveness to customer needs
- This individual will work closely with the Branch Manager and may at times assist on other projects as assigned
- Physical demands include daily assigned territory travel to customer locations, branch office and corporate office when necessary.
This is a solution sales role and the position requires a consultative approach. The ability to retain and acquire business will be dependent upon your listening skills, mechanical aptitude and the ability to respond to customer issues in a timely fashion that addresses their needs and not simply restating our service and product lines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Two plus years’ experience in the material handling industry or related field.
- High School diploma required, BA/BS degree preferred
- Mechanical aptitude helpful.
- Excellent customer service skills and good organizational skills.
- Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must have current driver’s license and clean driving record.
